When dedication and effort are part of your day-to-day, every recognition of the work you’ve carried out spurs you on. This is what happens at La Manga Club, where every award motivates us to maintain the highest quality standards for our residents. This time, our exclusive facilities have been nominated in the World Travel Awards, considered the “tourism industry Oscars”. La Manga Club could walk away, for the second straight year, with the title of Europe’s Leading Luxury Resort & Villas, and has additionally been nominated in the category of Europe’s Leading Lifestyle Resort 2018. Voting is open until the 20th of May, and anticipation is running high!
Votes for this award are cast by both travel professionals and consumers in the sector, a double filter that guarantees that winners are organizations that truly merit this renowned recognition of excellence in the tourism industry. This was the case in the last edition held in Russia, in which our Mediterranean luxury resort took home the prize for Europe’s Leading Luxury Resort & Villas 2017. According to the organizers, La Manga Club amply demonstrated its commitment to outstanding levels of quality and service over the previous 12 months. This 2018 we could have a repeat victory in the ceremony that takes place the 30th of June in Athens, Greece, and which will count industry leaders and a multitude of international media among its attendees.
Though we are honoured to have already received dozens of accolades for our labour, every new nomination or award motivates us to continue working tirelessly to achieve the best for the owners of our villas and apartments at La Manga Club. We hope for the best results once the voting is finalized on the 20th of May, to add a new distinction to those already received in 2017, such as the “Editors’ Choice Award for the Best International Resorts” from the magazine Golf Digest, and “Spain’s Best Golf Resort”, conceded for the seventh straight year to La Manga Club by the readers of Today’s Golfer.
The World Travel Awards are recognized globally as the most important seal of approval of tourism quality in the industry, with the winners setting the standard to which all others aspire. La Manga Club is poised to again land at the top of the best luxury resorts in Europe. The die has been cast!
